CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif Addresses Child Electrocution Incident in Sialkot

Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of an incident involving a child who was injured due to electrocution in the Muzaffarpur area of Sialkot. The injury occurred when a kite string came into contact with an electrical wire. In response, the Chief Minister has requested a detailed report from the Regional Police Officer (RPO) in Gujranwala.

According to a statement by Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif has instructed the authorities to ensure the child receives the best possible healthcare. Additionally, the Chief Minister has ordered an intensified crackdown on the business of kite flying, which has been identified as a hazardous activity leading to such incidents.

The directive comes amidst increasing concerns over the safety risks associated with kite flying in urban areas, where the proximity to overhead electrical wires pose a significant danger.
