Mustafa Abdullah Baloch, spokesperson for the Sindh Government, visited the Trauma Center at Civil Hospital Karachi, evaluating the facilities and patient services. He reported satisfaction with the positive patient feedback regarding the quality of treatment.
According to a statement by the Sindh Information Department today, the Trauma Center is equipped with modern medical facilities and provides immediate assistance to patients. Services include emergency care, plastic and maxillofacial surgery, and specialized treatments such as peripheral angioplasty for diabetic patients and liver cancer treatment. The hospital offers these services free of charge, catering to patients from across Pakistan.
Baloch highlighted the Sindh government’s commitment to the health sector, noting the increased health budget supporting various projects across the province. These initiatives aim to improve healthcare access for millions. He emphasized that many patients from other provinces seek treatment in Karachi, demonstrating the hospital’s significance.
The Sindh government is also focusing on expanding trauma hospitals throughout the province to ensure free healthcare access for the public. Baloch reiterated the government’s dedication to enhancing public health under the vision of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, ensuring continuous efforts to improve healthcare facilities for citizens.
