American companies have conveyed a strong interest in channeling investments into Pakistan’s crucial energy, critical minerals, and information technology sectors.

The development was communicated by US Chargé d”Affaires Natalie Baker during a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in the capital today. This potential influx of foreign capital points to strengthening economic ties between the two nations.

During their discussion, both diplomats noted with satisfaction the positive momentum in Pakistan-US relations. This progress has been bolstered by recent high-level exchanges and interactions that have taken place in New York and Washington.

Mr. Dar expressed Pakistan”s desire to further deepen the bilateral cooperation across diverse fields. He also underscored the country”s continued engagement in efforts to promote peace and stability throughout the Middle East and the wider region.
