Asphalt Patchwork Commences on Affected Highways in Mirpur Khas

Mayor Abdul Rauf Ghori fulfilled his promise to the residents of Mirpurkhas by initiating asphalt patchwork on major roads affected by the recent monsoon rains.

Speaking to local media on Wednesday, Mayor Ghori highlighted the poor condition of key thoroughfares such as Underpass Road, Umerkot Road, Post Office Chowk Road, and M.A. Jinnah Road, which were causing difficulties for residents and commuters. Fulfilling his commitment, the Mayor directed the city’s engineering department to immediately commence repair work on these crucial roads, as well as on other affected areas including the underpass bridge, Station Road, Market Chowk, and Baldia Road.

The Mayor emphasized the urgent need for these repairs, stating that the goal is to ensure smooth travel and maintain cleanliness across the city’s road network. This prompt response has been widely appreciated by public circles and the business community, who praised Mayor Ghori’s efforts in restoring the infrastructure.

In addition to the road repairs, Mayor Ghori announced further development projects, including the launch of water supply schemes and improvements to the drainage system, signaling a broader effort to enhance the city’s overall infrastructure.
