Acting President of Pakistan, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, today called for a collective national effort to prioritize the education, health, and security of children, identifying their overall well-being as a cornerstone for Pakistan”s future prosperity.
In a special message marking Universal Children’s Day, Gilani underscored that the upbringing of the nation”s youth is a shared duty requiring active participation from parents, educators, and the community at large.
The Acting President affirmed the government”s commitment to this cause, stating that significant steps are being taken to create a better future for the younger generation. He pointed to ongoing legislative measures, institutional reforms, and policy-level advancements as evidence of the state”s dedication.
Gilani highlighted that various parliamentary forums are instrumental in this mission, actively working to safeguard the rights of the youth and advocate for their welfare.
