Major international currencies maintained their positions in the interbank market on Saturday, with the US Dollar closing at a buying rate of 280.73 and a selling rate of 281.35, according to data provided by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan.

The Euro was quoted at 328.95 for buying and 331.59 for selling. The British Pound Sterling was similarly valued at 374.55 on the buying side and 377.88 on the selling counter.

In trading against other notable currencies, the Japanese Yen was priced at 1.78 for buying and 1.84 for selling.

The UAE Dirham registered rates of 76.56 and 77.25 for buying and selling respectively, while the Saudi Riyal was recorded at 74.80 for buying and 75.36 for selling.
