Deputy Commissioner Sukkur visits Rohri, reviews anti-polio campaign

Deputy Commissioner Sukkur, Nadir Shahzad Khan, while reviewing field operations on the second day of the anti-polio campaign, issued a stern warning that laziness and negligence will not be tolerated during the campaign.

During a visit to review the work of mobile polio teams in Union Council Long Bhatti of Tehsil Rohri on Tuesday, the Deputy Commissioner stressed the paramount importance of the successful door-to-door immunization effort.

Khan directed vaccinators and area supervisors to strictly adhere to the established micro-plan to ensure the campaign’s objectives. He emphasized the directive that every eligible child must be administered two drops of the polio vaccine.

Furthermore, he stressed the need to maintain cold chain standards to keep the vaccine effective and to correctly mark the fingers of all vaccinated children to accurately track coverage during the campaign.
