The 10-day transporters’ strike has caused financial losses of millions of rupees to Pakistan’s business community, leading to the cancellation of major orders and severe concern among traders.
The Chairman of All Traders Sindh Alliance, Muhammad Kashif Sabrani, said in a statement on Tuesday that the ongoing industrial action has severely affected commercial activities across the country.
Sabrani has appealed to the federal and Sindh governments for immediate intervention to end the strike and address the problems faced by the commercial sector.
The Chairman expressed hope that the relevant government departments will play an important and necessary role in ending the prolonged strike, which will resolve the traders’ problems.
