Gold and silver prices across Pakistan have reached historic highs, with both precious metals setting unprecedented records for the first time in the country’s history.
According to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold saw a significant increase of Rs 2,300 today, bringing the per-tola price to a staggering Rs 475,662.
Similarly, the price of ten grams of gold also increased by Rs 1,972 to Rs 407,803.
The silver market also witnessed a record-breaking increase, with the per-tola price reaching a new high of Rs 8,407 after an increase of Rs 462.
This increase in local prices reflects the bullish trend in the global market, where the per-ounce price of gold reached a new level of $4,533 after a $23 increase.
