Gold and silver prices increase, gold reaches Rs 464,762 per tola

The domestic gold market saw a significant increase in the price of gold, with the price of 24-karat per tola gold increasing by Rs 9,200 in a single day.

According to the latest data on Monday, the price of one tola of 24-karat gold was set at Rs 464,762. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 7,888 to Rs 398,458. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also saw a significant increase, rising by Rs 7,231 to be sold at Rs 365,266.

A similar bullish trend was observed in the silver market, with the price of 24-karat per tola silver closing at Rs 8,023 after an increase of Rs 267. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat silver also increased by Rs 229 to Rs 6,878.

This increase in the local bullion market corresponds with the bullish trend in the international market. Globally, the price of gold increased by $92 to $4,424. Meanwhile, an increase was also recorded in the international silver price, which rose by $2.67 to settle at $75.48.
