The Euro and the British Pound Sterling continued to exert significant pressure in the open currency market on Saturday, with both currencies trading at elevated levels against the local unit, according to figures released by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan.
The single European currency was quoted between 330.87 for buying and 334.07 for selling. Similarly, the Pound Sterling maintained its high valuation, with its trading range registered between 381.70 and 385.16.
Meanwhile, the United States Dollar experienced marginal fluctuations, being valued at 280.29 for buying and 280.92 for selling in the open market.
Among other notable foreign currencies, the Japanese Yen was recorded trading between 1.77 and 1.82. The UAE Dirham was quoted at 76.53 and 77.25, while the Saudi Riyal stood at 74.84 and 75.39 for buying and selling, respectively.
