Karachi: Pakistan's open market exchange rates showed little variation on January 23, 2026, as the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP) reported stable buying and selling rates for major currencies. The US dollar was recorded at 280.32 for buying and 280.99 for selling, while the euro stood at 328.96 for buying and 331.94 for selling.
According to State Bank of Pakistan, the British pound was being bought at 378.52 and sold at 381.73. The Japanese yen remained at 1.75 for buying and 1.81 for selling. Among Middle Eastern currencies, the United Arab Emirates dirham was recorded at 76.51 for buying and 77.27 for selling, whereas the Saudi riyal was at 74.84 for buying and 75.42 for selling.
