Thirteen Pakistani companies are vying for a greater share of the international consumer goods market at the newly expanded Ambiente and Paperworld Frankfurt 2026, the world’s foremost trade exhibition, which commenced today in Germany.
The prestigious five-day event, running until February 10 at Messe Frankfurt, serves as a critical barometer for global sourcing and design trends. This year’s fair is notably broader, following the complete merger of the Paperworld segments into Ambiente, a move designed to invigorate the office supplies, stationery, and creative goods sectors and foster new commercial synergies.
The national delegation comprises a diverse group of manufacturers aiming to showcase innovative and design-focused products. The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is supporting six firms: Anaya Salt Craft, Darson / Grand Wazir Tableware, Selections, Atlas Sports, Pakistan Souvenirs, and Suffah Industries.
An additional seven companies, including Dollar Industries, Tariq Glass, Sharp Edge Enterprises (Klassic Kitchen), Polyset Plastic, Minerals Route, Parus Plastic, and Dawood Corporation, are participating directly.
Representatives from the Pakistani contingent shared their initial feedback on the opening day. Mr Muhammad Uzair, GM Marketing at Parus Plastic, described the exhibition as a “valuable opportunity to showcase the creativity, quality, and innovation of Pakistani products to international buyers,” expressing optimism about forging strong business connections.
Similarly, Mr Muhammad Waqas Jaweed, Head of Commercial and Export at Polyset Industries, remarked that the first day had been “truly inspiring.” He emphasised that representing Pakistan on this global stage enables the company to highlight its varied product range and interact with industry leaders worldwide.
For all participating firms, the Frankfurt fair represents a strategic platform to engage directly with global purchasers, improve their international profile, and secure new export avenues in highly competitive markets.
