Heightened Security Measures Implemented for Religious Sites During Ramadan

Authorities today implemented special security arrangements for masjids and imambargahs across the district for the duration of the holy month of Ramadan, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad has confirmed.

The announcement followed a citywide tour by DIG Muhammad Jawad Tariq, who visited various areas to assess the existing security provisions.

During the inspection, the senior police official met with officers and personnel deployed on duty, commending them for their dedication. He stressed the paramount importance of ensuring public safety.

Mr. Tariq stated that the Islamabad police are continuously working to protect the lives and property of the citizenry.

He further affirmed that all available resources are being utilised to maintain law and order in the federal capital, adding a stern warning that no elements will be permitted to disrupt the peace of the citizens.
