A robber was arrested after being injured in a shootout with Jamshed Quarter police on Kashmir Road on Sunday.
The arrested person has been identified as Aamir Zeb alias Sheena, son of Gul Zeb, who was taken into custody after being injured during the encounter.
Authorities have confirmed the recovery of a pistol, ammunition and a motorcycle from the scene.
The injured suspect was immediately shifted to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was able to provide medical assistance.
