Sindh Governor, Business Leader Agree on Public-Private Push to Spur Industrial Growth

Sindh’s top provincial official and a leading business figure have agreed on the necessity of promoting public-private partnerships and taking joint measures to tackle challenges faced by the business community, aiming to revitalise the regional economy.

The understanding was reached during a detailed discussion between Governor Sindh, Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi, and Hamza Tabani, Chairman of the Tabani Group, held at the Governor House, according to information from the Sindh Governor House today.

The dialogue focused extensively on enhancing industrial activity, fostering new investment, and creating a more favourable business environment throughout the province. Both parties explored avenues for industrial development and the generation of new employment opportunities for the populace.

Governor Hashmi emphasised the indispensable contribution of the private sector to economic stability, stating that effective collaboration between public and private enterprises is essential for achieving sustainable development.

He articulated that a concerted effort to promote investment and revive the industrial sector would not only strengthen the economy but also create substantial employment.

During the meeting, Mr Tabani congratulated Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi on his appointment to the office of Governor and extended his best wishes for his tenure.

The two sides concluded with a commitment to improving facilities for investors and working in concert to address the hurdles confronting local industry.
