ISLAMABAD: All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) has thanked Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb for solving problems faced by the newspaper industry.
In a statement, APNS President Sarmad Ali and Secretary General Naz Afrin Sehgal Lakhani appreciated that the federal government has lifted ban on the purchase of newspapers and journals for government departments.
They lauded the Information Minister’s media-friendly policies and expressed the belief that the Ministry under her leadership will continue solving the financial problems of newspaper industry. The APNS hoped that immediate steps will be taken for increasing government advertisements for newspapers.
