LARKANA: The activists of Awami Tehreek (AT), District Larkana, again took out a large rally here on Friday which after marching through various roads culminated at Jinnah Bagh against the passed resolution of the Sindh Assembly to hand over the lands, coastline, oil, coal, gas and power of the Sindh to the federation, and the new committee formed under the leadership of Khurshid Shah to create new provinces, conducting a digital census based on malafide intention and corruption counting foreigners as citizens of Sindh, the high price of flour, bringing an amendment bill in the National Assembly to change the domicile policy by PPP MNA Qadir Mandukhel and against establishing a special ministry for Kashmiris in Sindh and deporting foreigners from Sindh.
They were holding large banners and party red flags in their hands and were shouting slogans in favour of their just demands. On this occasion, AT senior vice president advocate Sajid Hussain Mahesar, general secretary Tufail Jakhro, Muhammad Khan Chandio, Rajesh Kumar, Abdul Rahman Chandio, central president of Sujag Barira Tehreek Aitzaz Gaincho, Naveed Abbas Kalhoro, Farhan Kalhoro, Babul Soomro and others said that the Sindh Assembly consisting of landlords and jagirdars has broken the constitution by passing the resolution to transfer the resources and lands of Sindh to the federal government.
They said that the 18th constitutional amendment has been killed by this resolution. They said that the Sindh Assembly should withdraw this resolution because the resources of Sindh are not the property of the jagirdars sitting in the Sindh Assembly but the collective property of the Sindhi people.
They said that the Sindh High Court and the Supreme Court should automatically take suo moto notice of this unconstitutional resolution and take legal action against the leaders of the Sindh Assembly who violated the 18th Constitutional Amendment and broke the constitution.
