Balochistan cabinet sworn in

Quetta: Balochistan Cabinet’s 14 ministers were sworn in at the Governor’s House in Quetta on Friday.

Governor Abdul Wali Kakar administered oath to the cabinet members, marking their official induction into office more than a month after the chief minister’s oath-taking.

The ministers who took oath were Zia Langau, Tariq Magsi, Shoaib Nosherwani, Raheel Durrani, Sadiq Umrani, Ali Madad Jattak, Zahoor Buledi, Noor Muhammad Dumar, Sardar Faisal Jamali, Sarfraz Domki, Abdul Rehman Khetran, Saleem Khosa, Asim Kurd Gello, and Bakht Kakar.

Earlier, on March 2, Mir Sarfraz Bugti of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was sworn in as the chief minister of Balochistan. After assuming office, Chief Minister Bugti had indicated that the cabinet formation would follow the Senate elections.
