ISLAMABAD:Canadian High Commissioner (HC) to Pakistan Wendy Gilmour visited Altit Hunza to promote winter sports.
A local sportsman on Friday said, the High Commissioner served as a referee in an Ice Hockey match played between two girls’ teams. Some Canadian athletes also played Ice Hockey along with the local players. The High Commissioner congratulated Altit’s Sports Club and Rising Federation (SCARF) for organizing the fourth Winterlude festival. Addressing the young players from Hunza and Chitral she said “my colleagues and I had a blast!” What an amazing match.
