Citizens’ Alliance protests against rising lawlessness in Nasirabad and for restoration of Taluka Hospital

The Citizens’ Alliance has announced its intention to hold weekly protests demanding the restoration of the Taluka Hospital, a decision made after a meeting in which leaders also condemned the increasing lawlessness in the city, including a recent robbery targeting relatives of a senior member and a journalist.

During a general council meeting held today, chaired by the alliance’s president, Comrade Muhammad Rafi Laghari, the group decided that a demonstration will be held every Friday until the health facility is fully functional.

The meeting expressed grave concern over the deteriorating security situation, particularly condemning the robbery of the nephews of the alliance’s Vice President Muhammad Malook Laghari and journalist Muhammad Azam Tagar.

Speakers from the alliance’s member organizations, citing the multiple challenges facing the city, affirmed that the civic body is actively monitoring a wide range of municipal issues.

The gathering was attended by several prominent members, including Sufi Ghaffar Channo, Comrade Asif Kathia, Muhammad Tagar, Muhammad Malook, Ijaz Soomro, Sain Ghulam Shabbir Sindh, and Arif Brohi.
