Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Sunday paid rich tribute to former Prime Minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) founder, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, on his 97th birth anniversary.
In a message issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Bugti lauded Bhutto’s contributions to democracy in Pakistan, stating, “The vision of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto still guides us.” He emphasized Bhutto’s role in raising political awareness among the underprivileged and praised his efforts toward national unity and integrity.
“Bhutto Shaheed’s struggle for democracy is a golden chapter in Pakistan’s history,” Bugti said, adding that his sacrifices would be remembered forever. The chief minister also highlighted Bhutto’s significant contributions to the development of Balochistan, describing them as unforgettable.
