Commissioner Quetta Division Shahzaib Khan Kakar today conducted a detailed visit of various ongoing development projects under the Quetta Development Package.

The Commissioner directed the authorities to immediately remove all obstacles on important development projects, he stressed the need to reduce the difficulties faced by citizens due to the ongoing construction work.

Shahzaib Khan Kakar, while reviewing the quality and pace of Sabzal Road Phase II, Smuggli Road extension and Prince Road extension project, directed the concerned departments to further accelerate the pace of work on all development projects.

During the visit, Project Director QDP Rafiq Baloch gave a detailed briefing to the Commissioner about the overall situation of the schemes, the current pace of construction, and the specific obstacles being faced.

Commissioner Kakar said, “Effective alternative routes for the public and traffic should be managed during the construction work so that the citizens face minimum difficulties,” he stressed that the timely completion of these infrastructure upgrades is necessary for the improvement of the city and to reduce traffic pressure.
