A larger number of commuters have called on the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to ensure the full activation of the electric bus service on the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS)-Golra route, highlighting the daily inconvenience caused by its partial operation.

Locals from Golra and nearby areas described the route as one of the city’s most vital public transport corridors. Despite the launch of the electric bus service, it remains only partially functional, leaving commuters facing persistent challenges.

Speaking to Pakistan Press International (PPI) News Network, residents expressed frustration over the delay in fully implementing the service, noting that even though the initiative was launched after much effort, it has yet to deliver on its promise of easing daily travel woes.

They urged the authorities to expedite the activation of the entire route to alleviate the burden on the public.
