Srinagar, December 28, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has expressed concern over the health of illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activist languishing in different jails of India and the territory.
A DFP spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Kashmiri political prisoners were being subjected to political vendetta only because of their particular political ideology. He said India is not ready to pay heed to the aspirations of Kashmiri people and has directed the men in uniform to use force to suppress their voice.
Strongly condemning the beating of Kashmiri inmates in Kathua jail in Jammu, he said it is the most uncivilized form of cruelty to beat any person while he is in jail and unfortunately this cruelty is in practice in occupied Kashmir.
