DPM expresses grief over demise of party leader

Srinagar, September 02, 2020 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement (DPM) has expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of party leader, Javaid Ahmed, who passed away in Ganderbal due to brief illness. A delegation led by APHC leader and DPM Chairman, Khawaja Firdous, went to Ganderbal and attended the funeral prayers of Javaid Ahmed.

Addressing a condolence meeting on the occasion, Khawaja Firdous paid rich tributes to the deceased for his contribution in the ongoing freedom movement. He said that Javaid Ahmed was a true freedom fighter who left this world yearning for freedom of Kashmir from Indian yoke. He said that Javaid was arrested several times and subjected to severe torture by Indian police. Khawaja Firdous prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with patience.
