Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today announced that Pakistan is on a path of economic growth, attributing the nation’s progress on economic, foreign, and military fronts to the dedication and collective efforts of the government.

Addressing a gathering of Overseas Pakistanis at the Pakistan High Commission in London, he emphasized the enhanced global stature Pakistan has achieved. In his remarks, Prime Minister Sharif pointed to the government’s sincere and hardworking approach as keys to the country’s achievements.

He highlighted Pakistan’s victory over its adversaries and the consequent respect garnered internationally. Reflecting on his recent speech at the United Nations General Assembly, he noted his commitment to representing the sentiments of the Pakistani people, especially concerning the issues of Kashmir and Palestine.

Sharif condemned the severe oppression faced by the people of Gaza, expressing hope for constructive results from a meeting of Arab-Islamic countries, chaired by US President Donald Trump. The Prime Minister”s discussions with President Trump in Washington were described as productive, with expectations of further strengthening ties with the United States.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar supported Sharif’s statements, asserting that economic stability has been achieved with a reduction in interest rates and inflation. He also mentioned ongoing discussions involving eight countries, including Arab and non-Arab Muslim nations, with the US President regarding the Gaza situation.

Overseas Pakistanis attending the event lauded Prime Minister Sharif’s representation of Pakistan at the UN, particularly his efforts to bring the Kashmir issue to international attention. Their appreciation underscored the Prime Minister”s effective advocacy at the global stage.
