NAUNDERO:An educated woman can become an excellent mother of tomorrow and she can also build an awesome society as well in future. This was stated by Shabnam Gul, Secretary, Sindhi Language Authority, while speaking at a ceremony held at Benazir Bhutto Government Girls Degree College here on Monday to observe International Day of Women as a chief guest.
She said girl students should take, therefore, keen interest in their studies, books and the language. She said change was brought in Sindh by those who loved studies adding besides textbooks extra curricular activities should also be participated by the girl students.
She said she has seen women of this area as very successful. She said dreams seen in this age will come true in future. She said that our future is very bright because our rights are being denied but she added we will get our rights one day and that day is not too far. She said that a nation which loved books will always remain alive. She said when atrocities are committed then we become very strong. She said she has found Shah Abdul Lateef Bhittai over and above the poets of the west and east.
She urged the girl students to get benefits from digital devices but they should not misuse them at all. She said new posts have been created by the provincial government to bring forward women. She said such programs should be regularly held so that girls could be acquainted with the latest knowledge and techniques. Karmaullah Wadho, Director, Colleges, Nasim Akhtar Anasari, principal girls college Miro Khan, Ateeque Soomro, principal, degree college, Naundero, Nazir Soomro, Faheem Akhtar Ansari and others participated in the program.
