Islamabad, September 05, 2020 (PPI-OT): Enforcement Directorate of Capital Development Authority (CDA) is continuously operating against encroachments and illegal constructions on the state land in Islamabad. Anti-encroachment operations are being conducted all over the city. In this connection, concerned departments including MCI, ICT Administration and Police are also being taken on board for removal of encroachments and illegal constructions from green belts particularly from different Marakiz of the city.
In this context, Enforcement Directorate of the Authority conducted an anti-encroachment operation with the assistance of MCI. The operation was conducted in I-9 Markaz, I-10 Markaz, G-10 Markaz, G-9 Markaz and other busy markets of the city. During this operation, Enforcement Directorate removed several encroachments established in pathways, verandas and particularly outside shops. During this action, several trucks of encroachment material were also confiscated.
Similar action was also taken in Barakahu Simly Dam Road and besides demolishing illegal constructions, three trucks encroachment material was confiscated from the area. Furthermore, while operating in Muslim Colony Bari Imam area, staff of Enforcement Directorate demolished two (02) houses and two (02) illegally constructed shops on the state land. These operations were carried out with the assistance of ICT Administration and Islamabad Police.
