KARACHI:Under Dr Issa Laboratory, Taj Welfare Trust and Rotary Club Bay, a seminar and free hearing aid camp has been organized at Issa along Lab Abul Hassan Isfahani Road Branch to create awareness among the people about hearing diseases and provide them free diagnostic facilities.
Dozens of patients were examined and medicines were provided in the hospital. Addressing the seminar, the patron of Rotary Club Bay, retired Admiral Tanveer Ahmed said that there was an urgent need to work in the field of hearing otherwise more than half of Pakistan could be deaf.
Rotary Club Bay Hanif Khan said that they will work closely with Taj Welfare Trust. Renowned audiologist Shahid Akhtar Rajput said that unfortunately the hearing sector was neglected in the past. He said that the government should pay immediate attention to this. Audiologist Nuzhat Shahid Ashfa, Assistant Audiologists Ayesha Rashid and Humairanaz examined the patients.
