Srinagar, February 05, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has expressed gratitude to government of Pakistan and its people for their unflinching support to the people of Jammu Kashmir who are carrying on their just struggle for the past seven decades to achieve their inalienable right to self-determination.
Syed Ali Gilani in a message on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, today, said people of Jammu and Kashmir are challenging a big power and Pakistan is the only country that extends its continuous support to their cause.
“We are highly thankful to Pakistan for its categorical support and hope the country plays more effective role in this regard by activating all its embassies and allocating them the task of highlighting Kashmir issue and human rights violations,” Syed Ali Gilani said. He said Kashmir is an internationally accepted issue. He also paid tributes to former chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan, Qazi Hussain Ahmad for his supreme services for the Kashmir cause.
Other Hurriyat leaders including deputy Grand Mufti, Nasirul Islam, Hilal Ahmad War, Hakeem Abdur Rasheed, Mir Shahid Saleem, Bilal Siddiqui, Farida Behanji, Yasmeen Raja, Fazle Haq Qureshi, Muhammad Musaddiq Aadil, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Javed Ahmad Mir, Muhammad Ramzan Khan, Imtiaz Ahmad Shah, Imtiaz Reshi, Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Ghulam Nabi War, Democratic Freedom Party. Muslim League, Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement Chairman and Muhammad Shafi Lone in their messages also thanked Pakistan for observing the day.
