Srinagar, May 01, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, was discharged from Soura Institute of Medical Sciences Srinagar, today, after his health condition improved satisfactorily.
Syed Ali Gilani was admitted in the Soura Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar after he complained of abdominal pain on Tuesday.
An APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Syed Ali Gilani was advised to get readmitted within a couple of days for the cardiac checkup.
The APHC thanked all those who visited the hospital or enquired about the health of Syed Ali Gilani on phone and prayed for his speedy recovery. It also thanked to the Soura hospital staff particularly doctors attending him including director and medical superintendent and all others.
“It is pertinent to mention that Syed Ali Gilani is living with pacemaker for last 30 years that has developed some technical problem for which he needs to be kept under observation for a couple of days,” said the APHC spokesman.
On the other hand, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement, Muhammad Shafi Lone, the General Secretary of Democratic Political Movement, Khawaja Firdous, and the spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi, Nazir Ahmed, had visited Soura Hospital, yesterday, and enquired about the well-being of Syed Ali Gilani.
Jammu and Kashmir Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that its spokesman, Nazir Ahmed, also visited the residence of illegally detained ailing Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik, in Maisuma area of Srinagar and expressed solidarity with his mother and sisters.
The Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement (JKPM) Chairman, Mir Shahid Saleem, in a statement issued in Jammu prayed for early recovery of Syed Ali Gilani. He said that the ailing leader was a great source of inspiration and strength for all Kashmiris.
