A huge increase in the price of gold was witnessed in the domestic and international markets on Tuesday, resulting in a new high.
In Pakistan, the price of one tola of gold increased by Rs 5,100, bringing it to a new high of Rs 398,800. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 4,372, closing at Rs 341,906.
Globally, the price of gold per ounce increased by 51 US dollars, after which it closed at a new high of 3,770 US dollars.
