Gold prices witnessed a significant increase on Thursday, with the price of one tola of 24-karat gold rising by Rs 800 to Rs 357,000. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs 685, closing at Rs 306,069. A similar upward movement was observed in the rate of 22-karat gold, which increased by Rs 628 to Rs 280,573 per 10 grams.

This trend was mirrored in the international market. The per-ounce price of gold increased by $8, closing at $3,350. Silver also gained. The price of one tola of 24-karat silver increased by Rs 55, closing at Rs 3,871. The price of ten grams of 24-karat silver increased by Rs 47, reaching Rs 3,318.
