ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Film and Culture Policy 2018 has been revived and recommendations in this regard will be presented to the Prime Minister soon.
The Information Minister was talking to a delegation of Film Producers Association here in Islamabad on Saturday, who briefed her about their problems.
She said suggestions formulated after consultation with film and culture stakeholders will be made part of the upcoming budget. She said Punjabi film is our precious asset which is currently stagnant, but we are striving to review it.
The Information Minister said the revival and development of the country’s film industry is included in the government’s priorities and that it would take all possible steps to solve its problems.
