All arrangements have been finalized for the Cattle Market 2025 at Northern Bypass, Karachi, with operations commencing on April 19.

The market will offer a wide array of sacrificial animals from Punjab and Sindh. Administrator Shahbab Khan is scheduled to brief the media on April 18 about the new developments, including a token system designed to streamline the buying process for traders and buyers.

The token system aims to ensure the safety and protection of sacrificial animals. Each animal purchased will come with a token, which will facilitate the easy removal of the animal from the market premises. This initiative is part of broader efforts to enhance convenience for both buyers and sellers.

An ATM facility will be available at the market, and parking fees have been reduced by up to 50 percent to attract more visitors. Traders can bring their own standard tents to general blocks, while VVIP and VIP blocks offer discounted tent setups.

Traders and cattle owners arriving from Punjab and Sindh are already benefiting from the facilities, even before the official opening. The administration’s focus on convenience and security underscores their commitment to a smooth operation this year.
