A man was found dead while two robbers and three citizens were injured in separate incidents in different areas of Karachi on Sunday.

According to rescue sources, a man was found dead near Quba Mosque in Nazimabad 07. His body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.

In another incident, a police encounter occurred near Farooq Azam Mosque in Korangi No.3 area of Karachi, in which two robbers identified as Adil, 38, and Usman, 18, were injured. They were shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment.

Separately, two people were injured in a firing incident near Madina Mosque in Baldia town’s 24 Market of the city. The injured, identified as Noor Muhammad, 48, son of Noor Jamal, and Noor Ali, 42, son of Noor Jamal, were shifted to the Karachi Civil Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, one person was injured in a firing incident at Nursery Bridge area of the city. The injured was transported to the Jinnah Postgraduate medical Centre for treatment. He was identified as Muhammad Faraz, 40, son of Muhammad Khan.
