KARACHI:Provincial Minister for Human Settlement Sindh Ghulam Murtaza Baloch passed away on Tuesday due to Coronavirus in a private hospital of Karachi.
Murtaza Baloch had tested positive for the virus on May 14. He had been on ventilator at a private hospital in Karachi. He had been overseeing the Gadap isolation centre in Karachi when he contracted the virus.
Sindh government spokesperson and Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister Murtaza Wahab in his twitter message confirmed that ‘Haji Ghulam Murtaza Baloch, our colleague in #Sindh Cabinet has passed away today. He was suffering from #COVID?19. He was a genuine political worker and a very polite and humble human being. May Allah SWT bless his soul.
