Islamabad, October 25, 2018 (PPI-OT): The National Assembly Secretariat has auctioned six surplus vehicles and a motor bike at price of Rs. 7,816,000/= on 24th October, 2018 in the light of the austerity drives of the Government and directions of the Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser. The Auction was took place in the Parking Area of the Parliament House and a large number of bidders participated in the Auction.
One Mercedes Benz, four Toyota Corollas, one Suzuki Bolan and one motor bike Honda CG-125 were including in the auction. The reserved price of vehicles was Rs. 4,774,603/- whereas the vehicles sold out at price of Rs. 7,816,000/=, which was Rs. 3,041,397/= higher than the reserved price. The successful bidders will also have to deposit 10% withholding tax after which actual value of the vehicles will be Rs. 8,597,600/=.
