In a significant intelligence-based operation, the Pakistan Coast Guards on Monday seized a large quantity of hashish in the Jiwani area of Gwadar.
The operation led to the confiscation of 1,832 kilograms of high-quality hashish, valued at USD 30.57 million in the international market. However, no arrests have been reported in connection with the seizure, and further investigation was underway.
According to information by Pakistan Coast Guards, the operation was conducted following directions from higher authorities. The raid in the Jiwani area was carefully planned and executed, resulting in the substantial drug haul.
