Places of worship across the country were adorned for the occasion, featuring colourful lights and illuminated Christmas trees as part of the formal celebrations.
The festive atmosphere also extended into residential localities, where Christian neighbourhoods were embellished with twinkling lights and decorative stars to commemorate the event.
