Panjgur Women Skill Center receives Rs 1 million grant from Balochistan Chief Minister

The Panjgur district administration, acting on the directions of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, has provided financial assistance of Rs 1 million to the principal and staff of the local Women Skill Development Center.

The move came after the Chief Minister’s recent visit to the district today. According to Deputy Commissioner Panjgur, Abdul Kabir Zarkoon, the grant is aimed at making the institution more efficient and strengthening the skilling process for women.

In a separate but related action, a smartphone was awarded to a high-achieving female student as a gesture of encouragement. The district administration stated the objective was to promote educational interest among the youth and recognise their abilities.

Mr Zarkon confirmed that his administration had completed the key directives issued by the Chief Minister, adding that public welfare, educational, and social development projects are being executed on a priority basis.

The Deputy Commissioner reaffirmed the administration”s commitment to continuing such initiatives in accordance with government policy, to encourage young and capable individuals to enhance their skills for public service and collective well-being.
