At the United Nations General Assembly, Pakistan has highlighted the recent consultations held by President Trump with Arab and OIC leaders as a significant advancement.

The announcement made by the United States has been termed as a noteworthy development by Pakistan, according to MOIB information today.

Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, conveyed optimism that these initiatives could potentially bring about urgently needed changes. Ahmad stressed the necessity for an immediate ceasefire, an end to ongoing conflict, unimpeded humanitarian aid, and a viable political outlook towards the establishment of a Palestinian state.

In his address, Ahmad affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to these discussions, emphasizing the importance of assessing efforts based on tangible outcomes rather than mere promises. He appealed for an end to hostilities, cessation of occupation, reunification of families, reconstruction of Gaza, and the assurance of protection and dignity for the Palestinian people.
