Chairing a meeting in Islamabad on Monday, the Prime Minister underscored the necessity for Pakistan Railways to enhance its competitiveness in attracting passengers. He highlighted the potential benefits of public-private partnerships in improving travel services offered to passengers.
The Prime Minister also advocated for the modernization of Pakistan Railways by replacing outdated systems with contemporary technology. Such advancements are expected to contribute to the overall efficiency and appeal of the railways.
During the meeting, updates were provided on the ongoing initiatives for the revival and development of Pakistan Railways, including the rapid progress of the Thar Coal Communication Project.
