KARACHI: Police arrested a polio team manager for harassing a female worker in Malir area of Karachi on Sunday.

According to police, polio team officer Altaf Hussain allegedly harassed a female worker in Malir following which she raised hue and cry. The co-female workers rushed to the scene and saved the woman. They called the police who arrested the accused manager.

The police have registered a case of harassment and murderous threat against the accused at Ibrahim Haideri police station and started further probe. The harassed woman told the police that her manager harrassed her and also took out his pistol when she called others for help. She alleged that he also threatened to kill her.
