QUETTA:Customs Intelligence, Quetta on Monday claimed to have seized a huge quantity of betel nuts in an operation conducted in Lakpass area of the province.
According to Collectorate of Customs, Quetta, the staff of Customs Intelligence, led by Inspector Hamid Habib and Inspector Shair Khan, recovered 18,000 betel nuts from a bowser at Lakpass check post of Customs.
The value of the seized betel nuts was reported to be millions of rupees. Operation was conducted in compliance with the directives issued by Director, Customs Intelligence, Muhammad Ismail and Deputy Director, Amjad Hussain Rajper.
