SUJAWAL:A report has been lodged against four persons following a dispute between contractors of Education Works Department on Friday.
Farhan Awan, a contractor at Sujawal police station, has lodged a report against four persons including two contractors Amin Brohi and Ghafoor Soomro. He said that contractors attacked him for receiving Rs5 million contract from Education Works Department. Police has started investigation into the matter.
But on the other hand, the contractor Amin Brohi said that they also submitted a bid for the same contract but the department lost their papers and gave the contract to the influential person Farhan Awan, who has political connections. “When we argued about this, they threatened us that they would turn police against us. These people have political connections. We did nothing wrong,” Brohi claimed.
