QUETTA: Parliamentary Secretary for Information, Bushra Rind has said that the incumbent provincial government believed in conducting all elections including the Senate polls in a fair and transparent manner.
In a statement issued here on Friday, Rind said that all efforts were being made by the allied parties for securing a clear majority in the forthcoming Senate election. She added that such candidates would be elected who could raise voice for the backwardness, rights and people of the province.
She said the Senate polls carried importance in Balochistan, adding that allied parties of the provincial government would continue serving the people after securing success in the election through joint strategy. The province had been put on the path of development by the incumbent provincial government under the leadership of Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan and maximum measures were being adopted to provide facilities to the people, said Rind.
She urged senators to raise voice in the senate for the rights and problems of Balochistan. She said that problems of the people could be addressed after ensuring transparency in the election of the upper house.
