According to the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan report, the Pakistani Rupee depreciated significantly against major global currencies in interbank trading on July 12, 2025. The US dollar closed at Rs. 287.50, up from Rs. 286.42.
The European currency also gained value, reaching Rs. 338.82 compared to the previous Rs. 335.87. The British Pound increased from Rs. 389.57 to Rs. 393.32.
The Japanese currency rose from Rs. 1.92 to Rs. 1.97. Similarly, the UAE currency increased from Rs. 78.30 to Rs. 79.03, and the Saudi currency rose from Rs. 76.49 to Rs. 77.04. Information regarding interbank transactions is not available.
