ISLAMABAD:Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani has written a letter to Speaker of Turkish Grand National Assembly, felicitating him on the completion of one hundred years of the Turkish Assembly.
The Chairman said that the Grand National Assembly of Turkey has always played an important role in promotion of democratic values. He said Pakistan values its relations with Turkey and desires to further expand it in the sphere of parliamentary and people to people contacts.
Sadiq Sanjrani said peace, prosperity and development is the joint agenda of both the countries. He also wrote a letter to the head of Senate of Czech Republic, expressing grief and sorrow over the loss of lives there due to coronavirus.
On behalf of Pakistan, Sadiq Sanjrani offered every possible assistance to the Czech Republic. He said coronavirus is an unprecedented global challenge which has affected every person.
He said this challenge has provided a unique opportunity to the comity of nations to get united. He was confident that the collective efforts will help overcome this problem.
